The BWK
Learning at the BWK means profiting from experience
Behind BWK Campus stands a distinguished educational institute with a great deal of experience and competence: the Bildungswerk in Kreuzberg (BWK).
For 30 years, the BWK has been committed to the professional and linguistic qualifications of young people, the unemployed, and those seeking to re-enter the work force. One area of particular focus has been the education and training of those with non-German origins. Here, the BWK works closely with vocational schools and Job Centers. International standards certificates, such as DIN EN ISO 9001 and AZWV, document the high quality of the offered education.
Strong commitment to professional qualifications
The numerous professional qualifications offered by the BWK include, among others, training for commercial and technical professions, or for professions in gastronomy. In addition, the BWK operates a vocational school for care of the elderly with an intercultural focus.
Learning German at the BWK for over 30 years
Classes for German as a foreign language have been part of the BWK's core curriculum since its establishment and have always been an integral component of the schedules. Based on these 30 years of experience, an effective method of language teaching has grown, from which the BWK Campus benefits on a daily basis.
