Teaching methods

Beginning with the very first class, the language of instruction is German. You'll learn with the help of day-to-day situations, role-plays and original texts. Supported through the use of modern media, speaking, listening, reading and writing are trained equally. Even the basics of grammar are practiced through usage. And thus, you'll pass from level to level effectively and enjoyably, until you reach the goal of the qualifying exam. To prepare for this "big" exam, a practice test is carried out at every level.

Upon your arrival, we will provide you with all the necessary information for your stay in Berlin. We will then schedule an appointment for your placement test. Based on the results of this placement test as well as from your online-test, we will choose together with you an individually appropriate language course.

Throughout the course, you will be in constant, personal contact with your teachers. They will analyze your progress, give individual tips and hints, and organize supporting classes or exam preparation in small groups, as needed.

Even outside of scheduled class times, we will serve as your contact partners. Through practical training and joint activities you'll be able to practice and solidify what you have learned.
